London Walks

a shared record

Maps describing possible walks in London.  They vary from 1 mile to 5. Each map defines a walking route and contains descriptive links at points of special interest.  Viewed online, the links open up text/image files that say more about those places.

There is a printable map+summary for each walk (and a GPX option).  A tablet works well for following a route. A mobile can also – although map hotspots are a little crowded (and a bit slow to load).  However, the descriptive files they open should be quite readable.  It may help to have ‘footpath‘ – an app that can follow your route showing you where you are at any given moment. (Also the optional GPX link can help)
